♟️ IRAN LINKS CEASEFIRE TO ALL FRONTS AS TRUMP PUSHES REGIONAL PACKAGE CONNECTING IRAN TALKS, HORMUZ SECURITY, AND ABRAHAM ACCORDS EXPANSION
🔸 Iranian Foreign Ministry officials stated that any ceasefire “means a ceasefire on all fronts,” adding that Lebanon is “part and parcel” of the negotiations and agreements currently under discussion.
Officials accused “the Zionist entity” of attempting to undermine the negotiations and warned they expect possible Israeli actions aimed at “torpedoing” the process. Iran added that “nothing is ruled out,” claiming voices opposing the agreement seek to keep the United States trapped in “a vicious circle of endless wars.”
An Iranian official told The Washington Post that any reopening of the Strait of Hormuz would occur in stages. The official said the process would include mine clearance operations, lifting the American blockade, and the release of approximately $12 billion in frozen Iranian assets.
The official also claimed the current memorandum of understanding does not include a nuclear agreement itself, but only a commitment to continue future negotiations on the nuclear issue.
🔸 President Trump stated that negotiations with Iran are “proceeding nicely,” but warned the outcome would either be a “great deal for all” or a return to conflict “bigger and stronger than ever before.”
Trump said he held discussions Saturday with leaders from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Pakistan, Türkiye, Egypt, Jordan, and Bahrain regarding a broader regional framework tied to the negotiations.
Trump said countries participating in the emerging regional arrangement should simultaneously join the Abraham Accords, specifically calling for normalization steps by Saudi Arabia and Qatar. He stated countries unwilling to join “should not be part of this deal.”
Trump described the Abraham Accords as a major economic and strategic success and claimed the framework could transform the Middle East into a unified regional economic bloc.
Trump also made the unprecedented statement that multiple regional leaders would ultimately support Iran itself joining the Abraham Accords framework if a final agreement with Washington is reached.
According to Trump’s statements, the emerging framework appears to combine several parallel tracks into a single regional package, including a possible U.S.-Iran agreement, stabilization of maritime security and the Strait of Hormuz, expansion of the Abraham Accords, and a broader U.S.-aligned regional normalization structure.
Trump added that he has instructed his representatives to immediately begin efforts to expand participation in the Abraham Accords.
