🚨 IRAN LAUNCHES UAV AND MULTIPLE MISSILE BARRAGES TOWARD ISRAEL; INTERCEPTIONS UNDERWAY NATIONWIDE
🔹 Iranian UAV interceptions and regional alerts: Following sirens in northern Israel and the Arabah region for hostile aircraft infiltration, UAVs launched from Iran were intercepted. Sirens were activated in accordance with protocol. In the Eilat area, an additional alert was determined to be a false identification.
🔹 Missile launches from Iran toward Israel: The IDF identified missiles launched from Iran toward Israeli territory, and sirens were sounded in several areas across the country. Defensive systems are operating to intercept the threat, and the Israeli Air Force is operating to intercept and strike threats where necessary to remove the threat.
🔹 Home Front Command instructions and public safety directives: Precautionary directives were sent directly to mobile phones in relevant areas. Upon receiving an alert, the public is instructed to enter a protected space and remain there until further notice, and to exit only after explicit instruction. If no alert was received, the public is instructed to remain adjacent to a protected space. The IDF emphasizes that the defense is not hermetic and that adherence to Home Front Command guidance saves lives.
🔹 Additional missile barrage and operational guidance: An additional barrage of missiles was launched toward Israel. The Aerial Defense Array is currently identifying and intercepting threats. The IDF reiterates that the public should remain in protected spaces until official notice and emphasizes not to publish or share footage or locations of impacts.
