⚠️ IRAN LAUNCHES FIFTH BALLISTIC MISSILE SALVO SINCE MIDNIGHT AS HOME FRONT COMMAND GUIDELINES REMAIN UNCHANGED; JOURNALIST THREATENED OVER POLYMARKET BETS LINKED TO STRIKE REPORTING
🛡️ HOME FRONT COMMAND GUIDELINES REMAIN IN EFFECT: Following a situational assessment, the IDF said Home Front Command defensive guidelines remain unchanged.
The guidelines take effect on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 20:00 IST and remain in place until Friday, March 18, 2026, at 20:00 IST.
⚠️ FIFTH IRANIAN BALLISTIC MISSILE SALVO SINCE MIDNIGHT: No injuries have been reported following Iran’s latest ballistic missile salvo on Israel, the fifth since midnight.
Magen David Adom said medics are scanning locations where impacts were reported. It is not yet clear whether the reports refer to direct missile impacts, submunitions from a cluster bomb warhead, or falling fragments after interceptions.
Sirens sounded across the Jerusalem area and parts of southern Israel during the attack.
❗️ JOURNALIST THREATENED OVER POLYMARKET BETS RELATED TO STRIKE REPORT: The Times of Israel military correspondent Emanuel Fabian said online gamblers threatened him with violence and death.
According to Fabian, the threats were meant to pressure him to change a report about an Iranian missile strike on Beit Shemesh, as more than $14 million in Polymarket bets depended on whether a missile had actually hit Israel that day.
