⚓ IRAN KEEPS HORMUZ CLOSED AND DENIES U.S. TALKS: Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said ongoing negotiations with Oman are strictly bilateral and unrelated to the United States.
Baghaei denied reports that Iran requested direct negotiations with Washington, saying such talks are “not in our DNA” and that Iran is currently holding no negotiations with the American side. He said Iran remains willing to use diplomacy to protect its national interests, but would avoid steps that could be misinterpreted while the United States continues what Tehran considers provocative and aggressive actions.
He acknowledged that mediators may convey American messages regarding regional developments. Baghaei accused the United States of acting like a “mafia gang,” violating international law and preventing the formation of a reasonable diplomatic process.
Baghaei said the current situation cannot be described as a ceasefire and attributed the recent relative calm to the restraint and vigilance of Iran’s armed forces. He warned that any further U.S. action would be met with a reciprocal and decisive Iranian response.
⚠️ TEHRAN WARNS UKRAINE OVER CASPIAN SEA ATTACK: Ebrahim Azizi, head of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, said: “Any attack on Iran always comes with a cost, and that remains true today; the U.S. and Israel are well aware of this. Ukraine, too, may soon come to understand that Iran does not let actions go unanswered. The list of those who have miscalculated continues to increase!”
Iran’s Foreign Ministry stated: “The consequences of the attack on the Iranian ship are unpredictable for you. The repercussions of what Zelensky has done will affect several countries around the world”.
Responding to Iran’s retaliatory threats following Ukraine’s attack on an Iranian vessel in the Caspian Sea, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told Sky News that Iran and North Korea “have already attacked Ukraine.”
Zelensky said Iran has supplied Russia with drones since the early stages of the war, which Ukraine considers direct involvement in attacks against it. “Without any escalation on our part, Iran began supplying weapons to Russia,” he said.
🛰️ IRANIAN INTERFERENCE WARNING THREE MONTHS BEFORE ELECTIONS: David Zini, chief of the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), said Iran is attempting to interfere in Israel’s upcoming elections. The warning comes exactly three months before the elections.
