🚨 IRAN CONFRONTATION: TRUMP WEIGHS MASSIVE ATTACK AS ISRAEL PREPARES
🕑 Published: July 24, 2026 · 6:40 PM Israel time
‼️ TRUMP CLOSE TO DECISION ON IRAN: President Trump said: “I am considering a massive attack — larger than anything that has happened before. I am close to making a decision”.
Trump said Israel “would join in two minutes if I ask them to”, but added, “we don't need anybody” to launch a new operation against Iran. He also warned there would be “consequences” if Israel joined, suggesting Iran could retaliate against Israel.
Israel has told the United States that it wants to engage in a different kind of operation in Iran, one that would significantly damage Iranian infrastructure.
🛡️ ISRAEL RAISES EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS: Magen David Adom paramedics and ZAKA search-and-rescue personnel have been placed on high alert for potential developments.
Several Israeli hospitals have been instructed to prepare to operate from underground, protected areas.
🛰️ INTELLIGENCE WARNS IRAN MAY STRIKE FIRST: Western intelligence agencies assess that Iran may take the first action against Israel, according to Israeli Channel 13.
An Israeli security source said: “Iran's missile batteries are ready for immediate launch. The challenge for the Air Force will be to reach Iran as quickly as possible”.
Israeli officials told Yedioth Ahronoth: “We are heading towards an escalation with Iran”.
Defense Minister Israel Katz said during a security assessment that Israel is “prepared for every possibility”.
“If Iran attacks Israel, it will suffer a crushing blow,” Katz added, according to remarks published by his office.
❗️ IRAN THREATENS TO EXPAND THE CONFLICT: Two Iranian officials told The New York Times that if President Trump follows through on his threats to strike Tehran and Iranian infrastructure, Iran will expand the conflict across the region. They said this could include attacks on Tel Aviv and efforts by the Houthis to close the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.
Iran rejected a temporary U.S. ceasefire proposal from President Trump that was delivered to Tehran by Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi following his White House visit. Tehran reportedly refused because the proposal left control of the Strait of Hormuz unresolved.
🔸 TRUMP THREATENS TO USE IRANIAN ASSETS: President Trump said: “From now on, damages to ships, cargo, or related property will be paid from Iranian money the US holds and controls. Damages may be substantial, but this is fair and equitable”.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqhchi responded: “Seizing another nation's assets to pay for unrelated future claims is an incendiary precedent. Those who celebrate or profit from such funds should remember: once governments normalize confiscation, no one's assets are safe. Ensuing chaos will not be pretty or peaceful”.
