Reuters reports that Israel pressured the Trump administration to prevent an agreement with Tehran, and that Washington coordinated with Jerusalem while confirming the truce does not include ending the war or compensating Iran.

The French Foreign Ministry said 35 countries have expressed interest in participating in efforts to ensure freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. The Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and Israeli Police said they arrested five individuals from Haifa and the surrounding bay area on suspicion of spying for Iran. According to the indictment, Ami Gaidarov, 22, was recruited by an Iranian intelligence officer in August 2025 and carried out multiple missions for large sums of money, including agreeing to produce an explosive device intended to target a senior Israeli official and involving several friends in purchasing raw materials.
