📣 TRUMP SETS CEASEFIRE DEADLINE IN MESSAGE TO GULF STATES: President Donald Trump warned Gulf governments to prepare for a major expansion of the conflict with Iran unless a ceasefire is reached during the coming week, according to Channel 13.
🪖 IRAN-BACKED IRAQI FACTIONS RECEIVE PREPARATION ORDERS: Iran-backed factions in Iraq have been instructed to prepare for confrontation, according to Channel 14. The channel also reported that Iran is seeking a ground invasion of U.S. bases in Kuwait.
🚢 IRGC DECLARES CLOSURE OF THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ: The IRGC Navy said four vessels allegedly supported by the United States attempted to use an “unsafe route” through the Strait of Hormuz while disabling their navigation systems. IRGC forces halted two vessels, while the remaining two changed course.
The IRGC claimed “full control” of the strait and said vessels carrying oil, gas or chemical fertilizer must receive prior “coordination and permission.” It warned that ships entering the designated route under what it called “American propaganda” would “undoubtedly be involved in an incident.”
An informed source told Fars that all vessel traffic had been suspended until the United States ends its “hostile actions.” The IRGC said it had confronted vessels attempting to transit under U.S. military protection and warned that further attempts to breach the closure would face a direct military response.
