💥 IDF STRIKES MORE THAN 65 HEZBOLLAH SITES IN SOUTHERN LEBANON, ELIMINATES OVER 20 TERRORISTS AS DRONE THREAT AND IRANIAN WARNINGS INTENSIFY
❌ IDF targets Hezbollah infrastructure across southern Lebanon: Over the past 24 hours, the IDF struck more than 65 Hezbollah infrastructure sites in several areas of southern Lebanon.
The targets included weapons storage facilities, surveillance posts, command centers, and additional infrastructure used by Hezbollah terrorists to advance attacks against IDF soldiers and the State of Israel.
The IDF also says more than 20 Hezbollah terrorists were eliminated during the operations.
🥅 IDF expands defensive measures against Hezbollah FPV drones: The military says it has so far received 158,000 square meters of mesh netting to counter Hezbollah’s first-person view drone threat, with another 188,000 square meters being procured.
According to the IDF, the total amount of purchased netting is equivalent to the area of around 20 soccer fields. Photos released by the military show the netting deployed on vehicles and at military posts. The drones seen in the images were part of army testing.
❗️ Civilian wounded in Hezbollah drone attack worsens to critical condition: Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya says one person wounded in the Hezbollah drone attack near Rosh Hanikra is now in critical condition, while another remains in moderate condition.
Two additional civilians were brought to the hospital in good condition. One has been released, and the other is expected to be released soon.
The Hezbollah drone struck a parking lot near Rosh Hanikra, close to the Lebanon border.
⚠️ Iranian Foreign Minister warns UAE over alignment with Israel and the United States: Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi said the UAE “stood alongside the United States and Israel in this war.”
He added: “Israel, the Zionist regime, and the United States cannot bring them security. There comes a moment when silence is no longer possible. Iran may remain patient, but patience has limits. Security cannot be imported through Washington or Tel Aviv.”
⚖️ Military prosecution files indictment in murder of Yehuda Sherman: The military prosecution in Judea and Samaria filed an indictment Thursday against Dawas Hassoun for the murder of Yehuda Sherman.
According to the indictment, on March 21, 2026, after learning that Israeli civilians were traveling toward his home village of Beit Imerin, the suspect drove his pickup truck to a road near the village and waited for them.
After spotting three Israelis traveling in a Ranger off-road vehicle, the suspect allegedly followed the vehicle and intentionally rammed it from behind as it slowed near a steep slope. The impact caused the vehicle to plunge down the cliff, ejecting the passengers.
Yehuda Sherman was killed in the attack, and another civilian was injured.
The indictment includes charges of intentionally causing death equivalent to murder, attempted intentional killing of the two additional civilians in the vehicle, obstruction of justice, and unlawful weapons offenses.
The military prosecution requested that the suspect remain in custody until the conclusion of legal proceedings. The military court ordered his detention until further notice, with a hearing on extended detention scheduled for June 2, 2026.
The military prosecution stated it remains in continuous contact with the Sherman family and is providing them with all rights afforded under the law. The IDF and military prosecution expressed condolences to the family.
