🛡️ IDF STRIKES MORE THAN 100 HEZBOLLAH TARGETS ACROSS LEBANON, ELIMINATES TERRORISTS IN THE BEQAA VALLEY, AND EXPANDS CIVILIAN EARLY-WARNING ALERTS AS DRONE INFILTRATIONS CONTINUE ALONG THE NORTHERN
💥 Overnight, the IDF struck more than 100 Hezbollah infrastructure sites and terrorists in the Beqaa Valley and across southern Lebanon.
Several strikes in the Beqaa Valley targeted Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure, including a weapons storage facility. In southern Lebanon, more than 90 weapons storage facilities, command centers, observation posts, and infrastructure sites used by Hezbollah terrorists to advance attacks against IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians were struck.
Footage from one of the overnight strikes in the Mashghara area showed multiple strikes conducted within seconds against Hezbollah infrastructure sites where terrorist activity was identified. The terrorists were eliminated during the strike.
⚠️ Starting today, the Home Front Command will provide preliminary alerts for rocket and missile fire from Lebanon when operational conditions allow.
Commander of the Home Front Command, MG Rafi Milo: “Out of a deep commitment to civilian safety and improving protective capabilities, we have completed a professional process aimed at providing preliminary alerts for launches from Lebanese territory as well. The purpose of this initiative is to provide the public with additional preparation time prior to receiving an alert.”
The preliminary alerts will be distributed through the Home Front Command app, the Home Front Command Personal Message Platform (CB), the National Emergency Portal, and the Home Front Command Telegram channels.
Preparation times will vary by region:
• Confrontation Line: several seconds before sirens
• Northern region: up to approximately one minute before sirens
• Rest of the country: up to approximately two minutes before sirens
Upon receiving an early warning regarding incoming fire from Lebanon, the public is instructed to move closer to a protected space so they can enter it immediately once sirens sound.
The Home Front Command emphasized that there may be cases in which sirens sound without a prior early warning, and cases in which an early warning is issued but no siren ultimately follows.
❗️Sirens regarding hostile aircraft infiltrations were sounded in the areas of Netu’a and Elkosh following multiple Hezbollah explosive drone launches toward northern Israel.
Several explosive drones fell within Israeli territory adjacent to the Israel-Lebanon border. Earlier today, another Hezbollah explosive drone detonated near IDF soldiers adjacent to the border.
No injuries were reported in the incidents.
