⚠️ IDF STRIKES HEZBOLLAH TARGETS AFTER ROCKET FIRE AND IRAN TALKS FACE UNCERTAINTY
💥 LEBANON — IDF RESPONSE TO ROCKET FIRE: Following Hezbollah rocket fire toward Shtula yesterday, the IDF struck Hezbollah military structures in Kherbet Selem and Touline in southern Lebanon.
The IDF said the sites were used to plan and carry out terror attacks against IDF soldiers and the State of Israel.
🪖 IDF CASUALTIES IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: According to the Israeli army, 45 IDF soldiers have been wounded in southern Lebanon over the past 48 hours.
🔸 IRAN TALKS — SECOND ROUND UNCERTAIN: A Pakistani official said there is uncertainty regarding the second round of negotiations, with parties waiting for Iran’s response.
💱 DEFENSE DEAL — BELGIUM, ISRAEL, UKRAINE: Belgium will purchase 15 Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns from Israel’s Elbit Systems, with plans to transfer them to Ukraine.
The deal, including ammunition and refurbishment, is estimated at around €1 billion.

The political map remains largely unchanged, with the opposition holding 61 seats for the fourth consecutive week while the coalition remains at 49.
For the first time since June 26, 2025, Likud and Naftali Bennett’s party, Bennett 2026, are tied. Since the start of Operation “Lion’s Roar,” Likud has lost 3 seats and Bennett has gained 3.
Likud dropped by one seat this week, while Otzma Yehudit gained one, leaving the overall bloc balance unchanged.
Religious Zionism (2.8%), Blue and White (1.7%), The Reservists (2%), and Balad (1.4%) do not pass the electoral threshold.
Regarding U.S. policy, 42% of respondents believe President Trump’s decision to extend the ceasefire while waiting for Iran’s response is wrong, 28% support it, and 30% are undecided.
The poll was conducted on April 23 among 502 respondents representing Israel’s adult population, with a maximum sampling error of 4.4%.
