š„ IDF targets Hezbollah financial infrastructure in Lebanon: Overnight, the IDF struck Al-Amana Fuel Company gas stations in southern Lebanon that it says are controlled by Hezbollah and serve as core economic infrastructure supporting the organizationās military capabilities.
According to the IDF, the targeted assets generate millions of dollars in profit that are funneled through accounts owned by Hezbollahās Al-Quard Al-Hassan Association and used to fund terror activity.
The military says the strikes are intended to degrade Hezbollahās financial capabilities, impair its ability to plan attacks, and target its entrenchment within civilian areas. It says this effort also includes strikes on Al-Quard Al-Hassan Association assets in Beirut.
The IDF adds that Hezbollahās use of these gas stations is another example of the organization exploiting Lebanese civilians to advance attacks against IDF troops and the State of Israel.
