‼️ MAN CRITICALLY WOUNDED IN SUSPECTED TERROR ATTACK NEAR NEVE TZUF: A man in his 30s was critically wounded in a suspected shooting attack near Neve Tzuf, also known as Halamish, in the Binyamin area of Judea and Samaria, according to first responders. Medics are treating him.
Initial reports indicate that a gunman opened fire from a passing vehicle at Israelis near a natural spring close to the settlement before fleeing.
The IDF said numerous troops have launched a pursuit of the terrorist and are establishing roadblocks in the area, within the Binyamin Brigade’s sector.
The gunman’s escape route remains under investigation. There is suspicion that he fled in a vehicle, while the possibility that he fled on foot is also being examined.
🛡️ SPYDER delivery advances Czech air defense program: Rafael’s SPYDER air defense system was delivered to Czechia this week during NATO Days, one of Europe’s largest defense events. Two of the four batteries purchased are already in the country. Production of all four is complete, with adaptations to Czech military requirements and NATO standards.
Czechia selected SPYDER in 2021 through a government-to-government agreement led by Israel’s Ministry of Defense, becoming the first NATO member to purchase a complete, end-to-end air defense system from Israel. The program is developing into a comprehensive, integrated capability to defend Czech airspace.
The Ministry of Defense said the program reflects its strategy of using defense exports to strengthen the IDF’s force buildup, advance foreign policy objectives and drive growth in Israel’s defense industries and wider economy.
⛺ COGAT responds to Gaza shelter supply restrictions: COGAT said it regularly facilitates and encourages shelter supplies entering Gaza in coordination with international organizations. More than 20,000 new tents entered in the past month to replenish and maintain shelter stocks, it said.
Responding to reports of blocked equipment, COGAT cited security concerns that Hamas could use certain shelter components to rebuild terrorist infrastructure and strengthen its capabilities. It said Hamas has previously diverted resources intended for civilians.
COGAT said it works with international organizations to identify suitable alternatives and establish monitoring and oversight measures, aiming to allow essential supplies into Gaza while minimizing the risk of diversion by Hamas.
It rejected claims that Israeli policy is the primary obstacle to improving conditions in Gaza as factually inaccurate. COGAT said those claims divert attention from Hamas’s continued role in obstructing progress and exploiting humanitarian aid for political and military purposes.
