⚠️ FIRE TOWARD IDF TROOPS, REPEATED YELLOW LINE CROSSINGS: Early this morning, fire was identified toward IDF troops operating east of the Yellow Line in the northern Gaza Strip. No IDF injuries were reported, and the IDF struck in the area. The military called the incident “a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement” and said it views with severity attempts by terrorist organizations in Gaza to advance and execute attacks against IDF troops operating there.
The IDF also reported several recent incidents involving terrorists crossing the Yellow Line and approaching troops in a manner it said posed an immediate threat. In one update, the Israeli Air Force struck and eliminated a terrorist after he crossed the line and approached troops. In another incident earlier today, troops eliminated two terrorists who crossed the Yellow Line and approached forces. The IDF also reported that two terrorists were eliminated in another recent incident after crossing the line and posing an immediate threat. An earlier update from yesterday likewise reported a terrorist crossing the Yellow Line and approaching troops before being eliminated.
IDF troops under Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and, according to the military, will continue operating to remove any immediate threat.
🎯 NUKHBA COMMANDER ELIMINATED: The IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) said they eliminated Muhammad Mahmoud Marshad Al-Qadi in a strike Wednesday in the Khan Yunis area. Al-Qadi was a Nukhba company commander in Hamas’s military wing who, according to the agencies, infiltrated the Sufa outpost during the October 7 Massacre and commanded the infiltration of the outpost.
The IDF and Shin Bet said Al-Qadi also took part during the war in holding hostages in Hamas captivity in the Rafah area. More recently, he led training for Hamas terrorists, worked to rehabilitate the terrorist organization’s capabilities and advanced attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians in what the agencies described as systematic violations of the ceasefire agreement. They said he was eliminated to remove the threat he posed.
🇮🇱 PMO RELEASES NETANYAHU’S OCTOBER 7 TIMELINE: The Prime Minister’s Office published Benjamin Netanyahu’s October 7 timeline to address recently published “inaccurate reports.” It says his military secretary first informed him of the Gaza attack at 06:29. At 06:44, Netanyahu asked why intelligence provided to him had no indication, whether a large-scale reserve call-up was needed and whether Hamas’s senior leadership could be eliminated.
Netanyahu left for the Kirya at 07:30 once his convoy was ready. En route, Defense Minister Gallant said there was still no clear situational picture, and Netanyahu ordered a command-bunker assessment under his leadership. The PMO places his arrival around 08:00; Shin Bet records say 08:22.
From about 08:30–09:30, Netanyahu received intelligence and field updates. At 08:40, Gallant convened the IDF Chief of Staff and Shin Bet chief to formulate the picture ahead of Netanyahu’s discussion. At 09:47, his military secretary first received the Shin Bet chief’s 05:15 assessment document.
At 09:55, Netanyahu convened Gallant, the IDF Chief of Staff, Mossad Director, Shin Bet chief, National Security Council head and IDF Operations Directorate chief. The PMO says he ordered the Gaza border hermetically sealed to prevent hostages being taken into Gaza and further infiltrations, rejected an IDF recommendation for a partial reserve call-up and ordered a full call-up, instructed that a war order be issued and ordered preparations for the northern front.
A restricted consultation with Netanyahu, Gallant and the IDF Chief of Staff followed.
