⚠️ IDF PUBLISHES FORWARD DEFENSE LINE IN SOUTHERN LLEBANON AS FIVE DIVISIONS OPERATE AGAINST HEZBOLLAH
〽️ FORWARD DEFENSE LINE IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: The IDF published a map of the forward defensive line, including parts of Lebanese territorial waters, where its forces are operating to prevent direct threats to communities in northern Israel.
Five divisions, together with Israeli Navy forces, are operating south of the line to dismantle Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure and remove threats to northern communities.
The IDF said it will continue clearing the geographic area under its control in southern Lebanon to eliminate any threat to Israeli citizens.
❗️ HEZBOLLAH FIRE AT UNIFIL FORCES DURING THE CEASEFIRE: Following an IDF operational and intelligence assessment, it was confirmed that a Hezbollah terrorist cell opened fire on UNIFIL forces on Saturday while they were attempting to clear unexploded ordnance in the Al-Ghandouriyah area of southern Lebanon.
One UNIFIL peacekeeper was killed and three additional personnel were wounded, including two severely.
The IDF said Hezbollah continues to exploit the ceasefire to carry out terror activity while endangering and harming international forces and personnel in Lebanon.
