🎯 GAZA: HAMAS POSITIONS AND OCTOBER 7 NUKHBA TERRORISTS TARGETED: In Jabalia, the IDF dismantled a structure it says Hamas’ military wing used as an ambush position and weapons storage site. Several terrorists were eliminated after the military said Hamas operatives had been planning attacks against IDF troops and attempting to rebuild military capabilities from the location.
The structure was approximately 50 meters from the IDF’s “Yellow Line,” 70 meters from Kamal Adwan Hospital and 170 meters from a school. The IDF said its proximity to civilian and humanitarian infrastructure was another example of Hamas’ systematic use of such sites in violation of the ceasefire agreement and international law.
In separate strikes in Khan Yunis, the IDF and Shin Bet eliminated Hamas Nukhba terrorists Hazem Mousa and Razek Sahil Suleiman Abu Shahma, both of whom infiltrated the Re’im Base during the October 7 massacre. Abu Shahma had also served as Yahya Sinwar’s bodyguard. The IDF said both had recently continued advancing attacks against troops and Israeli civilians while attempting to rebuild Hamas’ capabilities in violation of the ceasefire agreement. Precise munitions and aerial surveillance were used as part of measures to mitigate civilian harm.
⚔️ LEBANON: GOLANI DISMANTLES MORE THAN 400 TERROR INFRASTRUCTURE SITES: The Golani Brigade, operating under the 36th Division in the Security Zone in southern Lebanon, has dismantled more than 400 terror infrastructure sites over the past several weeks as part of operations to remove threats to Israeli civilians.
Troops also located anti-tank missiles, surface-to-air missiles, explosive devices, Kalashnikov rifles, mortars and other weapons.
🛡️ JUDEA AND SAMARIA: IDF HEIGHTENS READINESS AHEAD OF HOLIDAY PERIOD: IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir ordered the readiness of an additional division headquarters to be raised amid tensions in Judea and Samaria and the approaching Jewish holiday period, while directing preparations for the immediate deployment of additional units and battalions if required.
Zamir said the IDF remains on high alert across the multi-front arena, from Iran and Lebanon to Gaza, and stressed that there would be no reduction in operational forces during the holiday period. Two divisions normally operate in the area: the Judea and Samaria Division, responsible for most of the territory, and the 96th “Gilad” Division, tasked with the Jordan border.
Zamir separately warned that an IDF funding shortfall is harming military readiness while personnel remain engaged across multiple fronts. He said maintaining Israel’s security and military preparedness remains the IDF’s guiding consideration.
