💊 PHARMACISTS SUSPECTED OF STEALING MEDICATIONS FOR IDF SOLDIERS: Two veteran pharmacists working as external Ministry of Defense contractors at Glilot Camp were arrested on suspicion of fraudulently taking tens of thousands of medications intended for soldiers and systematically selling them on the black market.
Investigators say some were prescription medications and that the suspects allegedly earned tens of thousands of shekels. The arrests followed a months-long undercover investigation involving Ministry of Defense security investigators, the Military Police Criminal Investigation Division and the Health Ministry’s Enforcement Division. Additional suspects were also detained for questioning.
🗳️ SMOTRICH-FEIGLIN TALKS ADVANCE AS WINTER SLIPS BELOW THRESHOLD: Negotiations over an emerging Smotrich-Feiglin alliance have reportedly narrowed to whether Smotrich’s representative or Feiglin will receive the 11th and 12th positions on the list. 🤝 SEGALOVICH EXPLAINS MOVE TO RA’AM: Yoav Segalovich, the first Jewish member of Ra’am, said he does not intend to change Mansour Abbas or the party and does not expect them to change him. He said political cooperation can instead be built on “trust, recognition of our differences, and a commitment to working together,” arguing that leadership’s role is to change present reality despite the “bloody history” of the past.
