‼️ IDF EXPANDS GROUND OPERATIONS BEYOND ITS “YELLOW LINE” BUFFER ZONE IN SOUTHERN LEBANON AS ISRAEL FORTIFIES THE NORTHERN SECURITY ZONE AND TARGETS HEZBOLLAH DRONE INFRASTRUCTURE
💥 It can now be revealed with censorship approval that the IDF has begun ground operations in Lebanon beyond its self-declared “Yellow Line” buffer zone, according to Israeli Channel 12.
The operations are targeting Hezbollah fiber-optic drone launch infrastructure used in attacks that killed and wounded Israeli soldiers inside the zone.
The IDF is reportedly carrying out raids beyond the Yellow Line alongside continued strikes on Hezbollah targets across Lebanon.
⚠️ The IDF has declared Ras al-Naqoura in southern Lebanon a closed military zone until at least May 31 following the escalation in the north.
🇮🇱 Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a security consultation at the Kirya with Defense Minister Israel Katz and IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir.
Netanyahu’s court testimony was significantly shortened today and tomorrow due to what were described as “policy and security” reasons.
⚔️ At the opening of the Security Cabinet meeting, Netanyahu stated:
“Under my direction and that of the Minister of Defense, together with the Chief of Staff, we are deepening our operations in Lebanon. The IDF is operating with large forces on the ground and taking control of dominant positions. We are fortifying the security zone to protect the communities of the north. At the same time, we are conducting a massive national effort to promote creative and innovative solutions against explosive drones. We back and praise our brave commanders and soldiers. They are deep in the field. We trust you!”
❌ During operational activity earlier today in the Jenin camp area within the Menashe Brigade sector, IDF troops identified a terrorist who entered the area and threw stones at them.
The forces initiated a suspect arrest procedure and fired toward the terrorist, neutralizing him to remove the threat. No injuries were reported among Israeli forces.
