❌ IDF ELIMINATES HAMAS MILITARY WING CHIEF IZZ AL-DIN AL-HADDAD AND ADDITIONAL OCTOBER 7 TERRORISTS IN GAZA
❌ IDF Eliminates Senior Hamas Military Leader Izz al-Din al-Haddad: The IDF and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) announced that Izz al-Din al-Haddad was eliminated in a precise strike in Gaza City on Friday. Haddad served as head of Hamas’ military wing following the elimination of Mohammed Sinwar and was considered one of the key architects of the October 7 massacre.
According to Israel, Haddad worked in recent months to rebuild Hamas’ military capabilities and plan additional attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF forces. He was among the longest-serving Hamas commanders and previously held senior operational roles, including commander of the Gaza City Brigade.
The IDF stated that Haddad played a major role in managing Hamas’ hostage captivity network throughout the war. Israeli officials said he reportedly surrounded himself with hostages in attempts to deter Israeli strikes against him.
Israel described Haddad as one of the final senior Hamas military leaders directly involved in planning and executing the October 7 massacre and overseeing combat operations during the war. His elimination joins a series of strikes targeting Hamas’ senior military command structure.
🇮🇱 Chief of the General Staff: “We Will Not Relent Until We Reach Them All”
Following the elimination, IDF Chief of the General Staff LTG Eyal Zamir held a situational assessment and stated:
“This is a significant operational achievement by the IDF, led by the Southern Command, IDF intelligence, the Israeli Air Force, and the ISA. In every conversation I held with the hostages who returned, the name of the arch-terrorist Izz al-Din al-Haddad, one of the chief perpetrators of the October 7th massacre and the head of Hamas’ military wing, came up again and again. Today, we succeeded in eliminating him. The IDF will continue to pursue our enemies, strike them, and hold accountable everyone who took part in the October 7th massacre. We will not relent until we reach them all - this is our duty to all those who returned and to all citizens of the State of Israel.”
At the conclusion of the assessment, the Chief of the General Staff instructed the Southern Command to maintain high operational readiness and respond immediately to any attempt to harm IDF troops or Israeli territory.
❌ Additional October 7 Terrorists Eliminated: Over the past two weeks, the IDF eliminated Hamer Iyad Muhammad Almatouk and Khaled Muhammad Salem Joudeh in two separate strikes in northern Gaza. Both were Hamas terrorists who infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre.
According to the IDF, the terrorists recently attempted to carry out attacks against IDF troops operating in the area and posed an immediate threat before being eliminated in precise strikes.
❌ Hamas Bureij Battalion Operative Eliminated in Central Gaza: Earlier this week, the IDF eliminated Abd al-Rahman Mahmoud Jumaa Shaafi in a strike in central Gaza. He was a terrorist in Hamas’ Bureij Battalion who advanced attacks against IDF troops.
⚔️ Continued Hezbollah Fire Toward IDF Forces: Over the past hour, Hezbollah launched rockets and mortar shells toward IDF soldiers operating in southern Lebanon. The projectiles fell near the soldiers, and no IDF injuries were reported.
In several additional incidents over the past 24 hours, Hezbollah launched hostile aircraft, mortar shells, and explosive drones near IDF operational areas in southern Lebanon. No sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol.
🛡️ Closed Military Zone Declared Along Northern Coastline: Following a situational assessment, a closed military zone came into effect on Thursday at 21:20 in the area of Rosh HaNikra and the Achziv coastline.
The IDF emphasized that entry into the area is strictly prohibited.
