⚔️ IDF DISMANTLES HOSTAGE TUNNELS IN GAZA AS HEZBOLLAH DRONE THREATS DRIVE EXPANDED LEBANON OPERATIONS
🎯 IDF troops operating in southern Gaza, east of the Yellow Line, dismantled four underground tunnel routes with a combined length of approximately four kilometers. One of the tunnels formed part of a network used to hold hostages, and living quarters used by senior Hamas Khan Yunis Brigade commanders were located within the system.
🛰️ In southern Gaza, an Israeli Air Force remotely piloted aircraft struck a terrorist suspected of planting an explosive device near Kfir Brigade forces. Additional Hamas Nukhba terrorists preparing imminent attacks, along with terrorists approaching IDF troops near the Yellow Line, were identified and eliminated in coordinated strikes directed by ground forces.
⚠️ In southern Lebanon, the Israeli Air Force intercepted suspicious aerial targets identified near areas where IDF troops are operating. One interception remains under review. During a separate evacuation mission, an Air Force helicopter experienced a technical malfunction after landing in the extraction zone. Another helicopter evacuated the wounded soldiers, while technical crews repaired the aircraft, which later departed safely. The IDF stated the helicopter was not hit by Hezbollah fire.
🚁 Three IDF soldiers were lightly wounded in a Hezbollah explosive drone attack in southern Lebanon. Israeli military officials also confirmed that a Hezbollah drone struck an Iron Dome system. According to Army Radio, the IDF is intensifying efforts to eliminate Hezbollah drone operators, though fewer than 10 have reportedly been eliminated so far.
🕯️ The IDF announced that Warrant Officer (res.) Alexander Glovanyov, 47, from Petah Tikva, was killed in a Hezbollah drone attack near the Lebanon border. An IDF probe determined that several explosive drones launched by Hezbollah struck inside Israeli territory, and one of the drones killed Glovanyov. He served as a driver in the Transport Center’s 6924th Battalion.

🛡️ Sirens warning of rocket fire sounded in Neve Yam, south of Haifa, after an interceptor was launched toward a suspicious target. The IDF later clarified that the alert was triggered due to concern over interceptor debris after a surface-to-air missile was fired at an Israeli Air Force aircraft operating over southern Lebanon. No injuries or damage were reported.
⚔️ Israeli Channel 12 reported that the IDF is preparing to expand ground operations in southern Lebanon following continued Hezbollah ceasefire violations. After an IDF evacuation warning, thousands of residents from Lebanon’s Beqaa Valley were reportedly fleeing toward Beirut and northern Lebanon.
⚠️ Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that if the Iranian regime weakens or falls, “that would be the end of Hezbollah, the end of Hamas, and probably the end of the Houthis,” while emphasizing that “the war is not over.”
🚨 The Knesset is advancing the Nuhba Law in second and third readings. The legislation would establish military tribunals for October 7 terrorists under crimes against humanity provisions and prohibit the future release of convicted terrorists in exchange deals.
🌍 The European Union approved new sanctions against what Reuters described as “violent settlers” in Judea and Samaria, while also referencing sanctions against Hamas terrorists.
