🎯 HAMAS COMMANDER INVOLVED IN RESTORING GAZA TUNNELS ELIMINATED: The IDF struck in Deir al-Balah earlier today and eliminated Sharif al-Hasanat, a company commander in Hamas’ Deir al-Balah Battalion.
According to the IDF, al-Hasanat was involved throughout the war in leading efforts to restore Hamas’ underground infrastructure. Recently, he continued advancing terrorist attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians.
“Throughout the war, the terrorist was involved in leading efforts to restore the underground infrastructure of the Hamas terror organization,” the military said.
The IDF justified the strike amid the ceasefire by saying al-Hasanat had recently been attempting to advance attacks and posed an immediate threat. “The terrorist posed an immediate threat to our forces and was eliminated,” the military added.
❌ TWO GAZA YELLOW LINE INCIDENTS: ONE TERRORIST NEUTRALIZED, HAMAS OPERATIVE CAPTURED: Earlier yesterday, Givati Brigade troops in southern Gaza identified a terrorist crossing the IDF’s Yellow Line and approaching forces.
The IDF said troops “spotted a terrorist who crossed the Yellow Line and approached the forces in a manner that posed an immediate threat.” The soldiers opened fire and “neutralized the terrorist to remove the threat,” the army added.
Separately, 99th Division troops in central Gaza identified a Hamas terrorist armed with a knife approaching the Yellow Line and intending to cross it. The troops continuously monitored him, and after he crossed the line, he was taken for questioning in Israel.
“The forces monitored the terrorist, and after he crossed the Yellow Line, took him for questioning in Israel,” the IDF said.
💥 IDF STRIKES STRUCTURE IN SOUTHERN LEBANON SECURITY ZONE: Earlier yesterday, Kfir Brigade troops identified several suspects crossing into the Security Zone near Baraashit and entering a structure.
The IDF said those inside “posed a threat to IDF troops,” and the Israeli Air Force subsequently struck the structure.
🎯 IDF SAYS TERRORIST ADVANCING IMMINENT ATTACKS ELIMINATED IN SOUTHERN SYRIA: Earlier this afternoon, the IDF fired in southern Syria toward a terrorist it said was advancing attacks in their final stages of preparation and posed an immediate threat to IDF soldiers.
The military said it targeted a terror operative “who advanced terror attacks in final stages of preparation.” It added: “The terrorist's activity posed an immediate threat to our forces.”
Syrian media reported that the strike hit a car in Beit Jinn, around 10 kilometers from the Israeli border, and that one person was injured. Syrian media identified the target as Ammar Said Hamada, a former officer in the Assad-era Syrian Army’s 4th Division.
The Syrian Foreign Ministry condemned the strike as a “flagrant violation of Syria's sovereignty”.
