🔴 IRANIAN BALLISTIC MISSILE STRIKE ON DIMONA INJURES 39; CHILD IN SERIOUS CONDITION: Medical officials report that a 12-year-old boy wounded in the strike has deteriorated and is now listed in serious condition at Soroka Hospital in Beersheba after being hit by shrapnel.
Magen David Adom says the total number of wounded has risen to 39. A woman in her 30s is in moderate condition after being injured by glass shards, while 37 others are lightly hurt from shrapnel, falls while running to shelter, or acute anxiety.
All casualties were evacuated to Soroka Hospital for treatment.
Rescue services say the missile carried a large warhead, causing damage to homes and additional structures in the area.
☢️ IAF STRIKES IRANIAN NUCLEAR R&D FACILITY IN TEHRAN: The Israeli Air Force struck a strategic research and development facility at Malek Ashtar University in Tehran, according to the IDF.
The military says the site was used by Iran’s military industries and ballistic missile array to develop components for nuclear weapons and other weapons. Malek Ashtar University operates under Iran’s Defense Ministry and is under international sanctions for activities linked to Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
The IDF says the strike was carried out based on precise intelligence and forms part of Operation Roaring Lion, which is aimed at creating a wide-scale and prolonged impact on key foundations of the regime. The military states it will not allow the Iranian terror regime to obtain nuclear weapons.
🪖 IDF CHIEF SAYS IRAN CAMPAIGN IS HALFWAY COMPLETE: IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir says the military is about halfway through its campaign against Iran.
"We are halfway through, but the direction is clear. In about a week, on Passover, the holiday of freedom, we will continue to fight for our freedom and our future," he says in a video statement.
Zamir says the extensive damage caused to the Iranian regime over the past three weeks is beginning to accumulate into a "systemic-strategic, military, economic, and governmental achievement." He adds that Iran is more exposed and without significant defense capabilities, while regime leaders are "battered and confused."
He also comments on Iran’s long-range ballistic missile attack on the UK-US Indian Ocean military base at Diego Garcia. Zamir says Iran launched a two-stage intercontinental ballistic missile with a range of 4,000 kilometers toward the American target, and warns that Berlin, Paris, and Rome are all within direct threat range.
⚔ ZAMIR APPROVES NEW BATTLE PLANS FOR LEBANON:
Zamir says he has also approved new battle plans for the fighting against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
"Our forces will stand as a buffer between the enemy and the communities, and any target that poses a threat to them will be removed," he adds.
