π HEZBOLLAH ROCKET FIRE FROM CIVILIAN AREAS: Hezbollah launched over 120 rockets from within the city of Tyre, Lebanon. The group is operating near Lebanese civilian populations, using them as human shields and endangering residents.
Foreign Minister Saβar said in a letter to the UN that Hezbollah has launched more than 3,500 rockets, missiles, and UAVs toward Israel since the beginning of the campaign.
π IMPACTS, INJURIES, AND INTERCEPTIONS IN NORTHERN ISRAEL: Earlier, a Hezbollah rocket struck Karmiel, lightly injuring two men in their 50s. Magen David Adom said both were hurt by blast and shrapnel.
Hezbollah also fired a barrage toward the city, and some of the projectiles were intercepted by air defenses. Alerts were activated in Maβalot-Tarshiha and nearby towns in the Galilee.
π FAILED ATTEMPT TO TARGET ISRAELI AIRCRAFT: IDF officials told Israel Hayom: "Hezbollah tried to shoot down an Israeli combat helicopter in the skies of Lebanon, but failed".
πͺ IDF GROUND OPERATION IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: During an overnight targeted ground operation, IDF troops identified armed Hezbollah terrorists after they launched an anti-tank missile at the forces. Troops responded quickly and eliminated the terrorists in a ground encounter.
A combat officer was lightly injured during the activity. He was evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment, and his family has been notified.
πΉ LEBANESE ARMY ON MISSILE EXPLOSION IN BEIRUT: The Lebanese Army said the rocket that struck Beirut yesterday was an Iranian Qader-110 ballistic missile. The military assessed that the high-altitude explosion suggests the intended target was outside Lebanese territory.
"The cause of the explosion was due to a technical malfunction or an interceptor missile. The Army Command indicates that there are no missile interception systems within Lebanese territory," the statement added.
