❌ EXPLOSIVE DEVICE WOUNDS FIVE LEBANESE SOLDIERS: A Lebanese Armed Forces vehicle drove over an explosive device in southern Lebanon earlier today, injuring five soldiers.

Following a review and contrary to initial claims, the IDF confirmed that the explosive device did not belong to Israel. Based on information available to the IDF, the device is assessed to have belonged to the Hezbollah terrorist organization.

The incident occurred in the Kfara area, outside the Security Zone in southern Lebanon, where no IDF soldiers were present.

The Lebanese Armed Forces later walked back its initial claim that the Israeli military had struck its soldiers. It said an examination at the scene determined that the explosion, which lightly wounded five soldiers, “was caused by a suspicious object.”

💥 GAZA STRIKES CONTINUE AS U.S. SOURCES CRITICIZE TARGETED KILLINGS: Israeli military strikes in the Gaza Strip continued. According to Palestinian sources in Gaza, 18 people were killed in strikes at several locations since this morning. One was identified as a senior member of Hamas’s military wing.

American sources expressed surprise over the continuation of targeted killings. According to them, Israel had agreed to terms that included halting targeted assassinations so that Hamas would commit to the next stage, handing over its weapons.

“These are the results of eight months of negotiations aimed at demilitarizing Gaza. Why continue the targeted killings now and give them an excuse to back out?” the sources said.

“This further isolates Israel in the Middle East, since all the mediating countries see it as proof that Bibi is not keeping his word or is not interested in peace.”
