⚠️ HEZBOLLAH ATTACKS AGAINST IDF FORCES: Hezbollah launched multiple explosive drones toward IDF troops operating in southern Lebanon. One drone crossed into Israeli territory near the border, severely injuring one soldier and moderately injuring another. Both were evacuated for medical treatment and their families were notified.
🎯 ADDITIONAL DRONE, MORTAR, AND ROCKET FIRE: Earlier in the day, additional Hezbollah explosive drones detonated near IDF soldiers in southern Lebanon, moderately injuring another soldier. In subsequent attacks, Hezbollah launched mortar shells and rockets toward Israeli forces operating in the area. The Israeli Air Force intercepted one launch, while mortar shells landed near the troops without causing injuries. The IDF said no sirens were activated in accordance with protocol.
🚀 ROCKET FIRE TOWARD NORTHERN ISRAEL: Hezbollah later launched several rockets toward the Western Galilee and Haifa Bay area. The IDF stated that one rocket was intercepted while the remaining launches struck open areas. No injuries were reported. The military described the attack as another violation of the ceasefire understandings by Hezbollah.
🏘️ NORTHERN MUNICIPAL RESPONSE: Following the rocket fire, the Kiryat Ata Municipality announced the opening of public shelters after a situational assessment conducted by the mayor.
📢 IDF EVACUATION WARNING IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: The IDF Arabic-language spokesperson issued evacuation instructions for residents in six villages in southern Lebanon, directing civilians to move at least 1,000 meters away into open areas. The statement said Hezbollah’s ceasefire violations were forcing the IDF to operate against the group with force.
🛰️ HEZBOLLAH DRONE DISCOVERED IN NAHARIYA: A Hezbollah drone was discovered on the roof of a school in Nahariya during routine maintenance work. It remains unclear when the drone crashed at the site.
⛏️ GAZA TUNNEL DISMANTLING OPERATIONS: Reserve troops from the Negev Brigade completed several months of operations in southern Gaza focused on dismantling terrorist infrastructure. Together with the Yahalom Unit, forces destroyed eight Hamas tunnel routes totaling more than two and a half kilometers in length, including a tunnel network in eastern Rafah.
🔥 HAMAS OPERATIVES ELIMINATED DURING ENGINEERING ACTIVITY: According to the IDF, Hamas operatives had recently been active inside one of the tunnel systems and were struck and eliminated during an engineering operation conducted within the tunnel. The Negev Brigade completed its seventh operational deployment since the beginning of the war and is being replaced in the sector by the Paratroopers Brigade. The IDF also released footage documenting the destruction of the tunnel infrastructure, including video from inside one of the tunnels.
