🎯 HAMAS FINANCIAL NETWORK OPERATIVES ELIMINATED: The IDF announced that Hussein Qadra and Mohammed Farra were eliminated in a precise strike in the Gaza Strip last Wednesday.
Qadra headed a Hamas-run financial network, while Farra was an operative in the military wings of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
According to the IDF, the network was responsible for transferring funds into the Gaza Strip under the direction of Hamas leadership.
"Qadra, who headed the network, together with Farra and other operatives, acted under the direction of Hamas leadership and facilitated the transfer of more than half a billion NIS to Hamas’s military wing by operating a network of dozens of couriers and money exchangers in Turkey and the Gaza Strip," the military said.
The IDF said the funds enabled Hamas to continue paying salaries to its terrorists and financing attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians, including during the ceasefire period.
"Through these funds, the Hamas terror organization continued, especially in recent months, to pay salaries to its terrorists and finance terror activities against IDF troops and Israeli civilians, in violation of the ceasefire agreement," the military said.
The IDF noted that several Hamas financial operatives have been eliminated in recent months in both the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
🎯 HAMAS SNIPER OPERATIVE ELIMINATED IN CENTRAL GAZA: Earlier today, the IDF eliminated Ahmed Samir Muhammad Washah in a precise aerial strike in the central Gaza Strip.
The military said Washah served as a sniper operative in Hamas's military wing and was eliminated alongside two additional Hamas terrorists.
According to the IDF, Washah worked publicly as an Al Jazeera photojournalist while also operating within Hamas's military wing. In recent months, he advanced sniper attack plans and additional terrorist activity against IDF troops operating in Gaza.
The IDF said Washah worked alongside his brother, Muhammad Samir Muhammad Washah, a key terrorist in Hamas's rocket and weapons production headquarters who operated under the guise of an Al Jazeera journalist and was eliminated in April.
The military said Washah was eliminated because of his recent military activity and the threat he posed to IDF troops operating in the area.
⚔️ FOUR SOLDIERS NAMED IN HEZBOLLAH TANK ATTACK: The IDF has now released the names of all four soldiers killed in Friday's Hezbollah attack on a tank in southern Lebanon.
The fallen soldiers are:
• Lt. Col. Dor Gedalia Ben Simhon, 32, commander of the 52nd Battalion of the 401st Armored Brigade
• Staff Sgt. Yoav Klein, 21, from Herzliya
• Staff Sgt. Liav Kababia, 20, from Hod Hasharon
• Staff Sgt. Nave Habshoosh, 20, from Geva Binyamin
May their families be comforted among the mourners of Zion. And may HaShem avenge their blood.
The tank was operating near Kfar Tebnit and the Ali Taher ridge as part of IDF operations to capture a major underground Hezbollah facility built beneath the hill.
On Friday, the IDF said Lt. Col. Ben Simhon and three members of his crew were killed after a Hezbollah drone or anti-tank missile struck their tank.
An IDF probe determined that, contrary to several media reports, the tank was struck by Hezbollah fire and that the blast was not caused by a malfunction.
