๐ก๏ธ JORDAN VALLEY STABBING SUSPECT APPREHENDED: A 24-year-old Israeli was moderately wounded after being stabbed near Al-Auja while stopping along the highway to shop, according to a preliminary IDF investigation. Footage showed the terrorist stabbing the man and fleeing.
The IDF launched a manhunt across the Al-Auja and Jericho areas, establishing roadblocks and deploying special forces and Israeli Air Force aircraft alongside intelligence collection efforts. The suspected terrorist was later apprehended following a joint pursuit aided by IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) intelligence and was transferred for questioning.
Separately, a terrorist attempting to steal a weapon from an IDF soldier in the Rimonim Square area was neutralized after the soldier opened fire. Additional troops were dispatched to the scene.
๐ ISRAEL HARDENS RESPONSE POLICY TOWARD GAZA KITES, BALLOONS AND DRONES: Defense Minister Israel Katz instructed the IDF to respond forcefully to launches from Gaza, including by targeting Hamas leaders and launch personnel, evacuating launch areas and striking terrorist infrastructure.
Katz said Israel would treat balloons, kites and drones alike, with or without explosives, and would not permit a return to the pre-October 7 reality. He is also set to discuss the recent kite launches with IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir and other senior military officials.
At least four kites from Gaza landed in Kibbutz Nahal Oz over the weekend, with the IDF finding nothing suspicious and no danger to the public. An eighth kite was counted in the border area this morning after landing in an agricultural field near Kfar Aza. Palestinian terrorists previously used incendiary kites extensively beginning in 2018, causing widespread fires near Israeli border communities.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu separately described drones as a changing global battlefield threat and instructed security forces to strike drones, their operators and their launch sites while strengthening civilian protection.
๐ฏ IDF TARGETS HAMAS WEAPONS PRODUCTION IN CENTRAL GAZA: The IDF and Shin Bet said they struck the Maghazi area and eliminated Ismail Abu Ful, a commander at a weapons manufacturing site within Hamasโ production headquarters. According to the military, Abu Ful was involved in producing explosive devices and anti-tank rockets, and the manufacturing site itself was also struck.
The IDF said the site had been established near an aid distribution point operated by an international organization, citing it as another example of Hamas embedding military activity within civilian infrastructure. The military said Hamas is violating the ceasefire agreement while attempting to rebuild its military capabilities.
Gazan media had earlier reported one person killed and several wounded in a strike near Maghazi. Additional Gazan reports later described another strike near az-Zawayda in central Gaza and several wounded in a strike in western Khan Younis. The IDF had not commented on those additional strikes.
