⚠️ FOUR MISSING IN HAIFA MISSILE STRIKE AS IDF RESCUE CONTINUES, AIR DEFENSE FAILURE PROBED, FLIGHT LIMITS EASE, AND NEW DETAILS EMERGE ON U.S. PILOT RESCUE IN IRAN
🛡️ Haifa Missile Impact: Four people remain unaccounted for and are believed to be trapped under the rubble at the site of an Iranian ballistic missile impact in Haifa.
Israel Police Commissioner Danny Levy says, "We are focusing all efforts on the four family members who are supposed to be here, using all means at our disposal."
Levy also says the missile warhead may not have exploded on impact, leading authorities to evacuate several nearby buildings in case of a delayed explosion.
"Our sappers are handling the case," he adds.
IDF Home Front Command search and rescue teams continue operating at the scene using advanced rescue equipment and technological means to locate the trapped individuals as quickly as possible.
At the same time, the Israeli Air Force is investigating why the missile was not intercepted.
According to the military, attempts were made to shoot it down, but the air defenses failed to stop the projectile before it struck the residential building.
✈️ Ben Gurion Airport Restrictions Eased: Israel is further easing outbound flight restrictions at Ben Gurion Airport, allowing up to 100 passengers on departing flights starting at midnight Sunday night.
The move comes about two weeks after a significant tightening of limits due to the security situation.
Air India has joined the growing list of foreign airlines canceling or suspending flights to and from Israel, with some disruptions expected to continue through the summer.
🆘 American F-15E Navigator Rescue in Iran: New details have emerged about the rescue of the American F-15E navigator shot down over Iran.
The officer was initially unconscious with a concussion and did not transmit a distress signal. He made first contact at 12:00 on Friday, climbed to higher ground to avoid detection, walked 10 to 12 kilometers, and hid in a crevice from which he sent precise coordinates on Friday night.
Israel refrained from striking in the area and provided intelligence during the operation. During Friday and Saturday, Israel was also asked to assist with air superiority and struck relevant targets.
U.S. forces seized a farm 18 kilometers from his hideout, landed two aircraft and small helicopters, and extracted him from the crevice before returning him to the farm.
During takeoff, two C-130 aircraft became stuck in the sand. Three smaller planes were then called in to evacuate the navigator and special forces, and fighter jets later bombed the two stranded aircraft to prevent capture.
President Trump: "Israel provided limited assistance during the search and rescue operation".
⚠️ President Trump Statements on Iran: President Trump: "People of Iran are afraid we are gonna leave in the middle of the war, but we are not going to leave".
Asked whether he is concerned that Iranian civilians could suffer if civilian infrastructure is hit, Trump said: "No, they want us to do it".
President Trump: "We sent a lot of guns to the Iranian protesters, we sent guns through the Kurds, I think the Kurds kept them".
