⚠️ ISRAEL POLICE TIGHTENS A3 SPEED CAMERA ENFORCEMENT: Israel Police is updating enforcement thresholds for the orange A3 speed cameras following a camera-by-camera review of road conditions, traffic volume, accident and casualty data, and risk levels.
Police has not announced a single nationwide threshold. However, Calcalist reports that recalibration could result in enforcement against drivers traveling only several kilometers per hour above the posted limit, potentially including approximately 6–8 km/h over, depending on the camera.
The change follows an expansion of Israel's traffic-violations reform, under which additional violations, including certain speeding cases, are handled through new digital traffic tribunals rather than the previous criminal court process.
Since the beginning of 2026, A3 cameras have generated more than 276,000 tickets. Traffic-law professionals estimate tighter thresholds could result in hundreds of thousands of additional tickets in the coming months.
According to the report, A3 tickets continue to apply a 5 km/h deduction from the recorded speed to account for measurement tolerance. Drivers should not assume that enforcement margins previously associated with the cameras will continue to apply.

🇮🇱 NETANYAHU SETS RED LINES ON IRAN, LEBANON AND GAZA: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, speaking at Sunday’s weekly cabinet meeting, addressed reports of possible Israeli withdrawals or concessions across multiple fronts and outlined Israel’s positions on Iran, Lebanon and Gaza.
Netanyahu declared: “Israel rejects the Peace Council’s 15-point document on Gaza. The IDF will not carry out any withdrawal until Hamas is genuinely disarmed.”
On Iran, Netanyahu said Tehran has attacked countries across the region but has so far refrained from attacking Israel in recent weeks because it understands the scale of Israel’s potential response. He praised President Trump and the U.S.-Israel partnership against Iran’s nuclear ambitions, declaring: “With an agreement or without an agreement, as long as I am Prime Minister, Iran will not have nuclear weapons.”
On Lebanon, Netanyahu said Israel has operated forcefully in recent days, eliminating terrorists and removing threats. He said Israel is conducting “a very important operation” on which he could not elaborate, adding that the IDF is acting with determination and prudence.
On Gaza, Netanyahu explicitly rejected the U.S.-backed 15-point document currently under discussion.
“Israel rejects the 15-point document,” Netanyahu said. “The IDF will not carry out any withdrawal until Hamas is disarmed.”
He clarified that this means all Hamas weaponry, including heavy, medium and light weapons, and said Israel requires “real disarmament, not fake disarmament.”
Netanyahu said discussions with the Americans are continuing and that some U.S. proposals are acceptable to Israel while others are not. He added that the IDF will continue acting against threats to Israeli forces and civilians.
Netanyahu also declared that as long as he remains prime minister, no Palestinian state will be established in Gaza or Judea and Samaria, saying: “Neither Fatahstan nor Hamastan.”
He concluded that Israel would continue defending its security interests even when that requires standing firm with its closest allies.
