Hamas’ Shati Battalion who infiltrated Israel during the October 7 massacre.

Arouq trained terrorists throughout the war and attempted to advance attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians. He was eliminated in a precise aerial strike after being assessed as a threat to forces operating in Gaza.

The IDF and Israel Security Agency also eliminated Anas Mahmoud Ahmed Hamdan in Khan Yunis. Hamdan was described as Mohammed Deif’s right-hand man, a Hamas company commander and a close aide to Deif and Rafaa Salameh.

Hamdan played a central role in holding Israeli hostages, transferring them and preparing their return during hostage-release agreements. He documented hostages during Hamas release ceremonies and was involved before the war in the captivity of Avera Mengistu.

During the war, he directly participated in holding hostages, supported senior Hamas commanders, conducted propaganda operations and later trained terrorists and advanced attacks against Israeli troops and civilians. The IDF described his elimination as a significant operational milestone.

An interceptor was separately launched toward a false target in the southern Gaza Strip. No sirens were activated, and the IDF said there was no suspicion of a security incident.

🤝 MOROCCO JOINS GAZA STABILIZATION FORCE: Morocco formally joined the International Stabilization Force in Gaza, with senior Moroccan officers integrated into the force’s headquarters to prepare for deployment.

The Moroccan contingent is expected to assist in securing humanitarian-aid distribution and training Palestinian volunteers designated to serve in the Palestinian police force.

⚖️ INDICTMENT FILED IN IDO ZOLDAN MURDER: The Military Prosecution filed a murder-equivalent charge against Shadi Juma’a for his alleged role in the November 2007 shooting attack that killed Ido Zoldan.

According to the indictment, Juma’a and two accomplices prepared a vehicle and equipment, waited beside a major road and agreed to confirm that their intended victim was Jewish. After identifying Zoldan’s vehicle, one accomplice opened fire at close range before the three fled.

Juma’a was recently released from Palestinian Authority detention and arrested in central Qalqilya on May 26, 2026, during a joint IDF, Israel Security Agency and Gideonim Unit 33 operation.

The Military Prosecution said it remained in continuous contact with the Zoldan family throughout the proceedings.

May his family be comforted among the mourners of Zion. And may HaShem avenge his blood.

🚓 POLICE INVESTIGATE INCIDENT NEAR GUSH JUNCTION: Police said an Israeli driver arrived at Tomer Farm and began filming before becoming involved in an argument with a local youth.

The driver allegedly entered his vehicle and lightly struck the youth, who did not require treatment. A female resident then approached the vehicle, and police said the driver continued moving while she held onto it, dragging her several meters and causing light injuries.

The 90-year-old suspect was detained for questioning, and his vehicle was impounded. The source described him as a left-wing activist and the injured woman as a settler. The investigation remained ongoing.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? He described reported U.S.-Israeli disagreements as natural tactical differences and reiterated that rapprochement with Saudi Arabia remained a central Israeli objective.

Iran-backed Iraqi factions announced a $10 million reward for killing President Trump. Separately, Israeli intelligence had warned the United States during Trump’s visit to Turkey that an Iranian official had discussed a possible assassination attempt.

The warning prompted heightened security measures, including moving Trump to an older Air Force One aircraft. U.S. officials described the single-source intelligence as uncorroborated and “more aspirational than operational,” while Turkish authorities found no evidence of a specific plot in Ankara.

British authorities charged Vahid Aberi, 39, under the National Security Act with assisting Iranian intelligence. He was arrested in Birmingham and scheduled to appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court.

Pakistan and Kuwait are also discussing a broader defense agreement linked to energy cooperation and investment. Kuwait is seeking cooperation involving aircraft, drones, air-defense systems and other capabilities, although Pakistani officials said combat-troop deployment was not under consideration.

Colombia’s incoming administration announced that it would withdraw the country’s intervention in South Africa’s case against Israel at the International Court of Justice following talks with Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar.

🛡️ ALTERNATIVES TO UNIFIL CONSIDERED IN LEBANON: Israel-Lebanon negotiations in Rome include a proposal to deploy Italian forces to supervise the disarmament of Hezbollah-controlled areas during an Israeli withdrawal.

The proposal followed Israeli and American opposition to assigning the role to UNIFIL. Security officials said the framework remained under consideration.

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul separately proposed replacing UNIFIL with an EU-mandated force after its mandate expires on December 31, 2026. He argued that an EU force could prevent Hezbollah from returning to areas vacated by the IDF, secure Lebanon’s borders and create conditions for a complete Israeli withdrawal.

The proposals followed the sixth round of ambassador-level Israel-Lebanon talks in Rome. Sirens near Kiryat Shmona were later confirmed as false alerts activated in an area of southern Lebanon where IDF troops were operating.

🏭 ISRAEL EXPANDS DOMESTIC DEFENSE CAPACITY: Defense Ministry Director-General Maj. Gen. (res.) Amir Baram visited UVision, an Israeli company specializing in loitering munitions, where he toured production facilities and discussed future projects with CEO Dr. Ran Gozali.

Baram said the ministry was implementing a major shift in defense-export policy intended to bring additional systems into the IDF, generate defense-budget revenue, strengthen Israeli industry and the economy, and expand production capacity during routine periods and emergencies.

The Knesset separately approved maintaining compulsory military service at 32 months.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? It maintained that the Strait of Hormuz remained open except to vessels attempting to violate the blockade.

White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said Iran continued communicating with Washington and expressing interest in an agreement. She said the blockade applies only to vessels entering or departing Iranian ports and was reimposed after Iran violated its commitment not to attack commercial shipping.

🚢 MARITIME SECURITY INCIDENTS CONTINUE: A tanker was struck by an unidentified projectile 19 nautical miles east of Khasab, Oman, late July 16. The vessel sustained minor damage, but the crew remained safe and continued toward its destination.

A separate vessel was illegally boarded by unauthorized personnel 65 nautical miles south of Al Mukalla, Yemen, on July 17 while traveling east through the Gulf of Aden.

UKMTO also reported military interactions involving merchant vessels near Iran’s Kharg Island and approximately 100 nautical miles east of Duqm, Oman. Investigations remained underway, and commercial vessels were advised to exercise caution.

⚠️ IRAN RETALIATES ACROSS THE REGION: Following the overnight strikes, Iran launched attacks toward Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Iraq.

The IRGC claimed it had attacked the U.S. Special Forces command center at Al-Tanf in southern Syria, destroying radar equipment and helicopters and killing numerous American soldiers. The claim was not independently verified in the source material.

Kuwait’s military said it intercepted 32 hostile drones that entered its airspace after dawn. Several vital facilities were targeted, while falling debris caused property damage in residential areas without reported injuries. Separate reporting indicated that U.S. military equipment near Kuwait’s border with Iraq was also targeted.

Iranian Armed Forces spokesman Abolfazl Shekarchi warned that regional infrastructure would become a target if Iranian infrastructure continued to be damaged. He also demanded a U.S. withdrawal from the region and described continuing American activity around the Strait of Hormuz as an act of war.

Iran reportedly instructed Hezbollah and other allied groups to remain on heightened alert amid concern that regional clashes could intensify.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? Iranian reporting described the attacks as the fifth consecutive night, while CENTCOM said American forces had begun a sixth night of strikes intended to further degrade Iranian military capabilities.

Attacks were reported across southern and western Iran, including Bandar Abbas, Bandar Khamir, Qeshm Island, Iranshahr, Sirik, Bushehr, Bandar Lengeh, Chabahar, Ahvaz and Lorestan Province. Targets included bridges, railway and airport infrastructure, communications systems, air and naval bases, and maritime-surveillance facilities.

Multiple sites in Bandar Abbas were struck at approximately 9:35 p.m. Iranian media reported seven explosions there and three in Ahvaz. A telecommunications tower in the Tappe Allah Akbar residential neighborhood was hit, killing one person and injuring eight. A separate strike on the Bandar Abbas railway junction injured two civilians.

🌉 BRIDGE STRIKES DISRUPT KEY TRANSIT ROUTES: U.S. missiles reportedly targeted six bridges along the Bandar Abbas–Lar axis and near Bandar Khamir, including the Kohourestan, Girveh, Latidan–Kalmatli and Maru Village bridges, two bridges on the Kohourestan–Lar route and the unfinished Bandar Khamir–Keshar–Bandar Abbas bridge.

Hormozgan authorities said the Kohourestan and Girveh bridges were incapacitated, completely blocking the Bandar Abbas–Khamir–Lar and Keshar–Kohourestan routes. Vehicles were reportedly crossing the Kohourestan Shor River bridge when it was struck.

A U.S. official told The Wall Street Journal that the attacks were intended to cut supplies to Bandar Abbas, which was “used for attacks on maritime vessels.” Iranian authorities issued evolving casualty figures, ranging from seven killed and nine injured in Khamir County to eight killed and 20 wounded across the overnight infrastructure strikes.

🛬 AIRPORTS, BASES AND MARITIME FACILITIES TARGETED: Ten explosions were reported near Masen village on Qeshm Island, with four additional explosions along the southern coast. At least one projectile struck Iranshahr Airport, injuring one person and damaging electrical infrastructure and fuel-storage tanks. A second strike reportedly caused additional electrical damage, and reconstruction work began.

Missiles also struck near Sirik, an air base and naval base in Bushehr, areas near Bandar Lengeh and the Visian district of Lorestan Province.

Three missiles struck a maritime traffic-control tower on the Makran coast at approximately 4:30 a.m., completely destroying it after previous attacks. CENTCOM said it had destroyed the Shahid Kalantari Port surveillance tower in Chah Bahar on July 16, describing it as part of an IRGC network used to track and target commercial vessels in the Gulf of Oman and Strait of Hormuz.

Iran’s Health Ministry said casualties from the “July war” had exceeded 400, including 38 people killed and 47 hospitalized.

🛰️ CENTCOM OUTLINES OPERATIONAL OBJECTIVES: A CENTCOM spokesperson said the strikes targeted missile and drone launch sites used against commercial vessels, as well as reconnaissance and radar assets in Greater Tunb and near Bandar Abbas.

CENTCOM also claimed progress in clearing IRGC mines from the Strait of Hormuz and reopening shipping lanes. It said Iranian attacks on Gulf states had caused no operational impact to American forces and accused Tehran of indiscriminately endangering neighboring countries and civilians.

The spokesperson said the United States was prepared to conduct any required mission and currently had approximately 50,000 troops in the Middle East.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? eliminated Anas Mahmoud Ahmed Hamdan in a precise aerial strike in Khan Yunis.

The source described Hamdan as Mohammed Deif’s right-hand man. He was a Hamas company commander, a close aide to senior Hamas commanders Mohammed Deif and Rafaa Salameh, and a central figure in holding Israeli hostages in Gaza.

Hamdan participated in processes connected to transferring hostages and returning them to Israel during hostage-release agreements. He was also responsible for propaganda operations within Hamas’ Khan Yunis Brigade and documented hostages during release ceremonies.

Before the war, Hamdan was involved in the captivity of Avera Mengistu. During the war, he was directly involved in holding Israeli hostages in Hamas captivity.

More recently, Hamdan trained Hamas terrorists and worked to advance attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians. The IDF said he posed a threat to troops operating in Gaza.

The IDF described his elimination as a significant milestone against a terrorist who played a central role in supporting and securing senior Hamas leaders responsible for the October 7 massacre.

🛡️ INTERCEPTOR LAUNCHED AT FALSE TARGET OVER SOUTHERN GAZA: An interceptor was launched toward a false target in the southern Gaza Strip.

No sirens were activated in accordance with protocol. An argument developed with a local youth, after which the driver entered his vehicle and lightly struck the youth, who did not require medical treatment.

A female resident then approached the vehicle to question the driver. Police said he continued driving while she held onto the vehicle, dragging her several meters and causing light injuries.

The 90-year-old suspect was detained for questioning, and his vehicle was impounded. The source described him as a left-wing activist and the injured woman as a settler. According to the U.S., its destruction degraded the IRGC’s ability to coordinate attacks against civilian crews and protected freedom of navigation for vessels not attempting to violate the ongoing U.S. naval blockade against Iran.

U.S. missile strikes also reportedly targeted six bridges along the Bandar Abbas–Lar axis and near Bandar Khamir. The targets included bridges along the Girveh, Latidan–Kalmatli and Kohourestan–Lar routes, the unfinished Bandar Khamir–Keshar–Bandar Abbas bridge and Maru Village Bridge.

Iranian media reported eight people killed and 20 wounded in the overnight infrastructure strikes. Three missiles reportedly struck the maritime traffic-control tower on the Makran coast at 4:30 a.m., completely destroying the structure after earlier strikes.

A second U.S. strike on Iranshahr Airport damaged electrical installations. Local authorities said reconstruction work was underway.

Israeli Channel 12 reported that the next wave of U.S. attacks will be more intense and may target Tehran and other Iranian cities.

🔸 PAKISTAN AND KUWAIT DISCUSS EXPANDED DEFENSE PACT: Pakistan is negotiating a broader defense agreement with Kuwait in exchange for energy cooperation and investment, according to Reuters.

The talks remain in their early stages and could be affected by U.S.-Iran tensions. Security sources said the framework is being examined by the relevant parties.

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul separately proposed replacing the expiring UNIFIL peacekeeping mission with an EU-mandated force to prevent a security vacuum and ensure Hezbollah cannot return to areas vacated by the IDF, according to The Jerusalem Post.

UNIFIL’s mandate is scheduled to expire on December 31, 2026, while Germany’s parliament recently approved its final extension of German participation. Wadephul said an EU force could create the security conditions required for a complete Israeli military withdrawal while securing Lebanon’s borders.

The proposal followed the sixth round of ambassador-level Israel-Lebanon peace talks in Rome aimed at resolving the war that began on March 2. In the Memorandum of Understanding that they signed, they were not to fire on commercial vessels moving through the Strait of Hormuz. And unfortunately, they have made the tragic decision—for them—to do that. Trump is not going to sit by and allow these active acts of terrorism to take place in the Strait without ensuring Iran pays consequences for that.”

Leavitt said the blockade applies specifically to vessels entering or departing Iranian ports:

“There is a blockade of ships, directed by Trump, for ships entering and departing Iranian ports only...this blockade was reimposed due to Iran's inability to honor their agreement with the United States...the Strait is OPEN for ships that are not traveling to and from Iranian ports specifically, and the U.S. Navy is there to ensure that can take place.”

🇮🇱 HERZOG SAYS IRAN’S CONDUCT UNDERMINES DIPLOMATIC AGREEMENTS: President Isaac Herzog told Al Arabiya that the “Iranian pattern of behavior” makes diplomatic agreements impossible because of repeated violations and arbitrary interpretations of agreements.

Herzog said he was “not surprised” by the renewal of American strikes and described reported U.S.-Israeli disagreements as “tactical” differences that are natural within the alliance.

Regarding regional diplomacy, Herzog reiterated his “dream to see peace” and said a “rapprochement” between Israel and Saudi Arabia remained a primary Israeli objective.

❗️ IRAN-BACKED IRAQI FACTIONS OFFER $10 MILLION FOR KILLING PRESIDENT TRUMP: The factions announced the reward as separate reports revealed an earlier Iranian assassination warning during Trump’s visit to Turkey.

During President Trump’s trip to Ankara, Israeli intelligence warned the United States that an Iranian official had discussed the possibility of attempting to assassinate him.

The warning prompted heightened security measures, including moving Trump to an older Air Force One aircraft.

U.S. officials said the intelligence came from a single, uncorroborated source and described it as “more aspirational than operational.”

Turkish security services investigated and found no evidence of a specific assassination plot targeting Trump in Ankara.

❌ BRITISH MAN CHARGED WITH ASSISTING IRANIAN INTELLIGENCE: Vahid Aberi, 39, from Liverpool, was arrested in Birmingham following an investigation by Counter Terrorism Policing.

He was charged under Britain’s National Security Act 2023 with assisting the Iranian intelligence service and was scheduled to appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court, according to the BBC.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? We targeted reconnaissance and radar assets in Greater Tunb and the vicinity of Bandar Abbas. We have made progress in clearing mines planted by the Revolutionary Guard in the Strait of Hormuz. We have opened shipping lanes in the Strait of Hormuz after clearing them of mines, and navigation continues. Iran's attacks on Gulf states have no operational impact on our forces. Iran is attacking its neighbors indiscriminately, endangering innocent civilians. We are ready to carry out any mission, and we currently have 50,000 troops in the Middle East.”

CENTCOM separately stated: “At 2 p.m. ET today, U.S. forces began conducting a new wave of strikes against Iran for the sixth consecutive night to further degrade Iranian military capabilities”.

⚓ U.S. FORCES ENFORCE THE NAVAL BLOCKADE: Marines from the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit conducted a verification boarding of the tanker M/T Wen Yao in the Gulf of Oman on July 16.

CENTCOM stated: “U.S. Marines from the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit conduct a verification boarding aboard M/T Wen Yao in the Gulf of Oman, July 16. As of today, American forces have redirected 3 commercial vessels trying to run the blockade, disabled 1 that didn't comply, and boarded 1 to ensure full compliance with the ongoing U.S. naval blockade against Iran. The Strait of Hormuz and the surrounding waters remain free and open, except for vessels attempting to violate America's steel wall blockade”.

💥 IRAN RETALIATED AGAINST TARGETS ACROSS THE REGION: Following the overnight U.S. attacks, Iran launched attacks toward Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Iraq.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed it conducted a surprise attack against the U.S. Special Forces command center at Al-Tanf in southern Syria.

The IRGC claimed the attack destroyed a radar system and several helicopters and killed a large number of American soldiers. The claim was not independently verified in the source material.

Kuwait’s military said 32 hostile drones had entered Kuwaiti airspace since dawn and were intercepted.

“The armed forces have detected, since dawn today, a total of (32) hostile drones within Kuwaiti airspace, which have been intercepted and dealt with. The sinful Iranian aggression resulted in targeting several vital facilities in the country, and the interception operations against the hostile targets led to the fall of debris in several residential areas, causing material damage, with no human injuries recorded.”

Separate reports indicated that U.S. military equipment on Kuwaiti territory near the Iraqi border was targeted.

⚠️ IRAN THREATENS INFRASTRUCTURE ACROSS THE REGION: Iranian Armed Forces spokesman Abolfazl Shekarchi stated: “Complete security in the Strait of Hormuz will be established when the Americans are not present. If our infrastructure is damaged, then all infrastructure in the region will be our target. We insist on the withdrawal of the United States from the region, and we will never back down from the Strait of Hormuz. Since the ceasefire was announced, American fighter jets have not left the Strait of Hormuz for even one day. Gen. (res.) Amir Baram visited UVision, a rapidly growing Israeli defense company specializing in loitering munitions.

Baram toured the production line and discussed planned joint projects with CEO Dr. Ran Gozali. He said the ministry is implementing a major shift in defense-export policy to bring more systems into the IDF, generate additional defense-budget revenue, strengthen Israel’s economy and defense industries, and expand production capacity during routine operations and emergencies.

“Our role is to assist and advance the defense industries,” Baram said.

⚖️ TERRORIST INDICTED FOR ROLE IN 2007 MURDER OF IDO ZOLDAN: The Military Prosecution filed a murder-equivalent charge against Shadi Juma’a for his role in the November 2007 shooting attack that killed Ido Zoldan.

According to the indictment, Juma’a and two accomplices planned to attack Jewish motorists, prepared a vehicle and equipment, and waited along a major road after agreeing to verify that their intended victim was Jewish. After identifying Zoldan’s vehicle, one accomplice opened fire at close range, killing him, before the three fled.

Juma’a was recently released from Palestinian Authority detention and arrested in central Qalqilya on May 26, 2026, during a joint IDF, Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) and Gideonim Unit 33 operation.

The Military Prosecution said it remains in continuous contact with the Zoldan family and is assisting them throughout the legal proceedings.

May his family be comforted among the mourners of Zion. of War Pete Hegseth that Israeli forces would remain in Lebanon, Syria and Gaza.

During an overnight call, Katz said the IDF intended to maintain forces inside established security zones in all three territories, according to Al Arabiya English. The position reportedly conflicts with President Trump’s recent demands that Israel withdraw from Syria and Lebanon because of concerns that its presence was contributing to regional tensions.

Katz argued that Israel had never asked the United States to operate on its behalf along Israel’s borders. Hegseth briefed him on continuing American operations in Iran, and the two agreed to maintain close security coordination.

The IDF has also begun constructing a line of permanent outposts in southern Lebanon, according to Maariv. Israel currently controls approximately 60% of Gaza and maintains a security zone extending roughly 10 kilometers into Lebanon.

The declaration followed the conclusion of a fifth round of U.S.-brokered talks in Rome intended to establish a phased Israeli withdrawal. Israel’s decision could deepen disagreements between President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu over regional deployments.

🧱 HEZBOLLAH REJECTED LEBANON’S DISARMAMENT FRAMEWORK: Hezbollah MP Hussein al-Hajj Hassan described Lebanese government efforts under the framework agreement with Israel as “Don Quixote-like,” citing the absence of an Israeli withdrawal timetable and opposition within state institutions.

Hezbollah continues to reject disarmament and argues that the government’s approach does not reflect Israel’s continuing military presence. Al-Hajj Hassan said nine cabinet ministers opposed the current framework, signaling a growing confrontation between Hezbollah and the Lebanese state.

🚫 SYRIA INTERCEPTED A LARGE SHIPMENT REPORTEDLY BOUND FOR HEZBOLLAH: Syrian Interior Ministry special units stopped a truck at the Iraq-Syria border that was reportedly traveling toward Banias.

The cargo included 150 explosive drones, long-range missiles and anti-tank missiles. Syrian officials said the weapons were intended for Hezbollah and were being transported through Syrian territory.

Hezbollah denied operating inside Syria and called the allegations “fabricated stories with no basis,” claiming they were intended to discredit the organization and serve a Zionist-American agenda.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? The State Department said the sales would not alter the region’s fundamental military balance.

🇺🇸 HOUSE REJECTED A $3.3 BILLION CUT TO ISRAELI MILITARY AID: The amendment introduced by Republican Congressman Thomas Massie was defeated 104-314, although 103 House Democrats supported it.

The Guardian described the vote as evidence of growing Democratic pressure over Israeli operations in Gaza. Some Democrats portrayed it as a turning point, while others objected that its wording could also eliminate humanitarian assistance.

Recent primary results have added to the debate. Incumbents in New York and Colorado were defeated by candidates emphasizing opposition to current Israeli policy and AIPAC influence, while similar challenges are emerging in Missouri and Michigan against candidates aligned with pro-Israel lobbying groups.

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called the amendment an “unfortunate choice” but voted for it, saying a message was needed against what she called the “perpetual cycle of war.”

📣 ISRAEL EXPANDED ITS CAMPAIGN TO BUILD AMERICAN SUPPORT: Israel has allocated hundreds of millions of dollars to strengthen U.S. support for its military campaign and improve its international image, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The initiatives reportedly include a $45 million lobbying contract with Brad Parscale, President Trump’s former campaign manager.

🪧 TEHRAN BILLBOARD REFERENCED PRESIDENT TRUMP AFTER GRAHAM’S DEATH: A billboard erected in Valiasr Square reads, “Who is D nexT one?” following the death of U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham. installations and other vital facilities would become missile targets if Riyadh joins a large-scale attack against Yemen. He accused Saudi Arabia of alignment with the United States, Israel and Britain, framed the confrontation as “Sana’a airport versus Riyadh airport” and rejected surrender as an option.

A senior source in the Houthi Defense Ministry separately alleged that Israeli Gulfstream aircraft departed Nevatim Air Base and operated alongside Saudi forces over the Red Sea. The source claimed the aircraft supported Saudi air defenses by gathering intelligence and tracking incoming Houthi missiles and drones following Saudi strikes on Sana’a International Airport.

🛡️ PAKISTAN DEFINED ATTACKS ON SAUDI ARABIA AS A “RED LINE”: A Pakistani official said Islamabad had informed Tehran that attacks on Saudi Arabia would be treated as attacks on Pakistan. Pakistani leaders reportedly warned that additional attacks on Saudi territory could compel military intervention.

Under a mutual-defense agreement signed last year, nuclear-armed Pakistan has deployed thousands of soldiers, including forces near the Saudi-Yemen border, and a squadron of fighter aircraft to the kingdom.

Islamabad is also concerned that Red Sea shipping disruptions could affect its energy imports and complicate its mediation efforts between Washington and Tehran. Reuters reported that the IRGC’s military wing appeared increasingly dominant over Iran’s political leadership, with internal strains recently delaying a planned Iranian delegation visit to Islamabad.

💰 WASHINGTON OFFERED UP TO $15 MILLION FOR HOUTHI FINANCIAL INFORMATION: The State Department reward is intended to support efforts to disrupt Ansarallah financing. The announcement cited attacks on commercial vessels, civilian deaths, forced rerouting, attempted hijackings and shore-to-ship missile attacks against American and allied shipping.

⚓ HORMUZ TRAFFIC REMAINED NEAR ONE-TENTH OF PRE-WAR LEVELS: Kpler recorded only 13 merchant vessels crossing the strait on Wednesday, with eight leaving and five entering the Persian Gulf.

Despite a U.S.-promoted southern route near the Omani coast, tracking data indicated that most operators continued using routes near Iran. Some vessels were reportedly disabling their transponders to reduce the risk of detection.

Iran has also drafted regulations imposing “environmental compensation fees” on vessels transiting Hormuz. The proposal still requires parliamentary approval.

🛢️ THE GLOBAL OIL BUFFER CONTINUED TO SHRINK: Worldwide crude stockpiles have fallen by 360 million barrels since March and by more than one billion barrels since the conflict began, reducing the principal buffer against a major supply shock.

IEA Executive Director Fatih Birol said alternative production and Saudi Arabia’s East-West pipeline had limited immediate shortages but could not sustainably compensate for an extended disruption. Brent crude rose by approximately $13 to nearly $85 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate gained more than $10 and settled just below $80.

💥 SECURITY INCIDENTS DISRUPTED IRAQI OIL OPERATIONS: A drone exploded near a Liberian-flagged tanker at Iraq’s Basra oil port, prompting authorities to suspend oil-loading operations, according to a security source cited by Al Jazeera.

The Iraqi Ports Authority disputed reports of a wider interruption, saying handling operations were continuing and that the incident occurred outside its jurisdiction. Dana Gas separately shut down its principal facilities at the Khor Mor field because of security threats, according to Reuters.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? Iranian authorities said the fire began at a workshop within the compound, according to Iran International.

🎯 CENTCOM TARGETED IRANIAN COMMAND, MISSILE AND COASTAL SYSTEMS: An evening strike wave concluded at 9 p.m. ET on July 15, hitting command centers, air-defense sites, missile and drone capabilities, and coastal surveillance facilities in several locations, including Bandar Abbas. CENTCOM said the operation was intended to further reduce Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

American forces had earlier struck coastal-defense and cruise-missile sites on Greater Tunb Island during a 90-minute wave. Iranian outlets reported additional strikes on Qeshm Island, Behbahan in Khuzestan Province and areas near Bandar Abbas.

Hormozgan authorities reported impacts near Qeshm at 6:10 p.m. and near Bandar Abbas at 6:20 p.m. and 6:40 p.m. The governorate said no casualties or damage to residential or commercial infrastructure had been identified, pending further assessment. Eyewitnesses also reported explosions in central Dubai, according to Reuters.

⚠️ TEHRAN LINKED U.S. INFRASTRUCTURE STRIKES TO REGIONAL RETALIATION: The IRGC warned that infrastructure throughout the region would be targeted if Washington attacked Iranian infrastructure. Iranian military officials also said Hormuz would remain closed until Washington recognizes what Tehran described as its system based on the rule of law.

The Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters called foreign interference in Hormuz a non-negotiable “red line” and threatened strikes against all regional infrastructure. It described any future response as broader and more destructive than reciprocal retaliation.

🚢 IRAN REPORTEDLY PREPARED A SECOND MARITIME CHOKEPOINT THROUGH THE HOUTHIS: Reuters reported that Tehran instructed the Houthis to close the Bab el-Mandeb Strait if the United States attacks Iranian power infrastructure. A source close to the Houthis said missiles and drones had been positioned around the waterway, while IRGC representatives in Yemen would retain final authority over when to act.

The Houthis have not initiated the closure and are reportedly waiting for what they consider the “right moment.” The Telegraph described the preparations as part of a broader Iranian strategy to increase pressure on the United States and its allies.

Simultaneous restrictions at Bab el-Mandeb and Hormuz could force vessels to reroute around Africa, disrupt the Middle East’s principal oil-export routes and threaten the Saudi East-West pipeline carrying diverted Gulf oil to Yanbu. Sources close to the Saudi leadership said Riyadh was taking the threat “very seriously” and believed the Houthis were coordinating closely with Iran.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? American military refueling aircraft from Ben-Gurion Airport, despite an earlier Transportation Ministry announcement that a solution had been found to prevent serious summer disruptions to civilian flights.

American military officials said the proposed alternative locations were too crowded and failed to meet Pentagon safety and operational requirements. They argued that remaining at Ben-Gurion is necessary to respond rapidly to emergencies involving Iran and possible attacks on U.S. bases in the Persian Gulf.

The dispute has reached the diplomatic level and reportedly requires intervention by Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz. The U.S. military is seeking to maintain and potentially expand its logistical presence at Ben-Gurion in preparation for worst-case regional scenarios.

📍 ISRAEL SAYS IDF WILL REMAIN IN LEBANON, SYRIA AND GAZA: The Israeli Defense Minister’s Office announced: “Defense Minister Katz informed U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth that the IDF will remain in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza”.

During an overnight call, Katz said Israel intends to maintain its forces inside established “security zones” in Syria, Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, according to Al Arabiya English.

The position reportedly conflicts with recent demands from President Trump, who asked Prime Minister Netanyahu to withdraw Israeli forces from Syria and Lebanon over concerns that their presence was fueling regional tensions.

Katz argued that Israel has never asked the United States to act on its behalf along Israel’s borders. Hegseth briefed him on continuing American operations in Iran, and both sides agreed to maintain close security coordination.

IDF forces have also begun constructing a line of permanent outposts in southern Lebanon, according to Maariv. The move could further increase tensions between President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu over Israel’s regional deployments.

Israel currently maintains control across approximately 60% of Gaza and within a 10-kilometer security zone in Lebanon.

The declaration came as a fifth round of U.S.-brokered talks concluded in Rome. The negotiations are intended to establish a phased Israeli withdrawal.

🔸 HEZBOLLAH REJECTS DISARMAMENT FRAMEWORK: Hezbollah MP Hussein al-Hajj Hassan described Lebanese government efforts under the framework agreement with Israel as “Don Quixote-like,” citing the lack of an Israeli withdrawal timetable and opposition within state institutions.

Hezbollah continues to reject disarmament and argues that government efforts do not reflect the reality of Israel’s military presence. Al-Hajj Hassan said nine cabinet ministers oppose the current framework, signaling a growing political confrontation between Hezbollah and the Lebanese state.

❌ SYRIA INTERCEPTS HEZBOLLAH-BOUND MISSILES AND DRONES: Syrian Interior Ministry “special units” intercepted a major weapons shipment at the Iraq-Syria border after stopping a truck reportedly headed toward Banias.

The cargo included 150 explosive drones, long-range missiles and anti-tank missiles. Syrian officials said the weapons were “destined for Hezbollah” and were intended to transit through Syrian territory.

Hezbollah denied the allegation: “We deny any activity on our part within Syrian territory, and claims to the contrary are fabricated stories with no basis. Claims of our activity within Syrian territory are aimed at discrediting us and serving the Zionist-American agenda”.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? The Guardian described the vote as a sharp rebuke of the Netanyahu government’s Gaza operations and evidence of mounting internal Democratic pressure over U.S. policy toward Israel.

Some Democrats objected that the amendment’s wording could also cut humanitarian assistance. Others described the vote as a “turning point” in the party’s position.

Recent primary races have added to the volatility. frustrated Pakistan and could complicate Islamabad’s efforts to mediate between the United States and Iran.

A Pakistani official told Reuters: “Our top civil and military leaders have conveyed to Iran at the highest level that the attacks on Saudi Arabia are attacks on Pakistan. It is our red line.”

Under a mutual-defense agreement signed last year, nuclear-armed Pakistan has deployed thousands of soldiers, including forces near the Saudi-Yemen border, and a squadron of fighter jets to Saudi Arabia. Pakistani civil and military leaders reportedly warned Iran that an attack on Saudi territory would compel military intervention.

Islamabad is also concerned that Red Sea shipping disruptions could affect its vital energy imports. Reuters reported growing internal divisions in Tehran, where the IRGC’s military wing appears increasingly dominant over political leaders, a strain that recently delayed a bilateral visit by an Iranian delegation to Islamabad.

❌ U.S. OFFERS $15 MILLION FOR HOUTHI FINANCIAL INFORMATION: The U.S. State Department announced: “REWARD UP TO $ 15 MILLION FOR INFORMATION ON ANSARALLAH (HOUTHIS) FINANCIAL DISRUPTION: Ansarallah (Houthis) has launched multiple attacks against commercial vessels in the Red Sea, killing civilians and forcing rerouting of maritime traffic. These Iranian-trained and armed terrorists have also attempted hijackings and launched shore-to-ship missiles against vessels from U.S. and allied countries.”

⚓ HORMUZ TRAFFIC REMAINS AT ONE-TENTH OF PRE-WAR LEVELS: Kpler data recorded only 13 merchant vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday, with eight leaving and five entering the Persian Gulf.

Although the U.S. military is promoting a “safer” southern route near the Omani coast, maritime tracking indicates that most operators continue using routes near the Iranian coast. Some vessels are reportedly disabling their transponders to avoid detection entirely.

Iran’s Deputy Minister of Marine Environment and Wetlands announced that the government has drafted regulations imposing “environmental compensation fees” on vessels passing through Hormuz. The proposal still requires approval by Iran’s parliament.

⚠️ GLOBAL OIL BUFFER FALLS AS PRICES SURGE: Global crude stockpiles have fallen by 360 million barrels since March, following a broader drawdown of more than one billion barrels since the conflict began.

The decline is eroding the primary global buffer against a major “oil supply shock.” IEA Executive Director Fatih Birol warned that alternative production and Saudi Arabia’s East-West pipeline have limited immediate shortages, but cannot sustainably compensate for an extended disruption.

“Brent crude” has risen by approximately $13 to nearly $85 per barrel. “West Texas Intermediate” has increased by more than $10 and settled just below $80.

💥 DRONE INCIDENT DISRUPTS BASRA OIL OPERATIONS: A drone exploded near a Liberian-flagged oil tanker at Iraq’s Basra oil port, prompting authorities to suspend oil-loading operations, according to a security source cited by Al Jazeera.

The Iraqi Ports Authority disputed reports of a broader interruption: “Unloading and handling operations are continuing without any interruption. Bab el-Mandeb Strait if the United States attacks Iranian power infrastructure.

A source close to the Houthis said the terrorist organization has completed preparations to target shipping, including deploying missiles and drones around the strategic waterway. IRGC representatives already operating in Yemen would reportedly control the final decision on when to initiate the closure.

The Houthis have not yet acted and are reportedly waiting for what they consider the “right moment.” The Telegraph described the preparations as part of a broader Iranian strategy to increase pressure on the United States and its allies.

Closing Bab el-Mandeb while Hormuz remains severely restricted could force commercial vessels to reroute around Africa, disrupt the Middle East’s primary oil-export routes and threaten the Saudi East-West pipeline carrying diverted Gulf oil to the Red Sea port of Yanbu.

Two regional sources close to the Saudi leadership told Reuters that Riyadh is taking the Iranian and Houthi threats “very seriously.” They said the Houthis are coordinating closely with Iran over their Red Sea activities.

⚠️ HOUTHIS THREATEN SAUDI INFRASTRUCTURE: Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi warned that Saudi oil infrastructure and other vital facilities would become missile targets if Riyadh joins a large-scale attack against Yemen.

Al-Houthi stated: “Saudi Arabia’s role in cooperating with America, Israel, and Britain to undermine any unified and unified position of the Ummah is now completely clear and well-known. Saudi Arabia’s aggression against Yemen has been ongoing for years, has no legal justification, and is taking place within the framework of alignment and loyalty to America and Israel. Saudi Arabia bombed Sana'a airport in protest against lifting the siege on Yemen. They was angered by Sana'a's response to the airport bombing, even though it was a modest response. The real equation is Sana'a airport versus Riyadh airport. Saudi Arabia wants our people to live in an economic crisis, with the only way to obtain money being through treason. The option of surrender in Yemen is out of the question.”

A senior source in the Houthi Defense Ministry separately claimed that Israeli Gulfstream aircraft took off from Nevatim Air Base and operated over the Red Sea alongside Saudi forces. According to the source, the aircraft supported Saudi air defenses by gathering intelligence and tracking incoming Houthi ballistic missiles and drones after Saudi Arabia bombed Sana’a International Airport.

🔁 Know someone who should see this? Iranian authorities said the blaze began at an asphalt workshop inside the complex, according to Iran International.

💥 U.S. STRIKES IRANIAN COMMAND, MISSILE AND COASTAL SITES: U.S. Central Command announced: “U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) ended an evening wave of strikes against Iran at 9 p.m. ET on July 15. U.S. forces struck Iranian command centers, air defense sites, missile and drone capabilities, and coastal surveillance facilities to further degrade Iran's ability to threaten innocent mariners crewing commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz. CENTCOM used precision munitions to hit targets in multiple locations including Bandar Abbas. Earlier this morning, American forces struck coastal defense and cruise missile sites on Greater Tunb Island during a 90-minute wave.”

Iranian outlets reported additional American strikes on Qeshm Island, Behbahan in Khuzestan Province and areas near Bandar Abbas. The Hormozgan Province Governorate said missiles struck multiple locations near Qeshm at 6:10 p.m. and areas near Bandar Abbas at 6:20 p.m. and 6:40 p.m.

The governor’s office reported no casualties or damage to residential or commercial infrastructure following the latest Bandar Abbas strikes, pending further official assessments.

Local eyewitnesses also reported hearing explosions in downtown Dubai, according to Reuters.

⚠️ IRAN THREATENS REGIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE AND ADDITIONAL FRONTS: Iran’s military warned that the fighting could expand if attacks against the country continue.

The IRGC declared: “If Washington carries out its threats to strike infrastructure in Iran, we will strike infrastructure in the region”.

Iranian Army Spokesman Mohammad Akraminia said: “The Strait of Hormuz will remain closed as long as Washington does not recognize our system based on the rule of law”.

A spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters issued a broader threat: “Under any circumstances and in any form, we will not allow America, as a foreign and extra-regional country, to interfere in the Strait of Hormuz. This is Iran's red line, and it is non-negotiable. If the recent threats made by the U.S. President regarding targeting Iran's infrastructure by that country's aggressive military are carried out, then everything that has remained safe so far due to Iran's strength – that is, all the infrastructure in the region – will be crushed under the strikes of the powerful armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, leaving no trace, as if it had never existed in the first place. Let the ignorant enemy know that for us, the moment of confrontation is not a moment to be avoided. What the Iranian armed forces are doing is not a reciprocal strike, but a superior one. These strikes will be more severe, more extensive, and more destructive than ever before.”

🔁 Know someone who should see this?
